In C-55/18, the Court of Justice held that Member States must require employers to establish an objective, reliable and accessible system that can measure each worker's daily working time.

Minimum working-time safeguards

EU minimums include 11 consecutive hours of daily rest per 24-hour period; 24 uninterrupted hours of weekly rest per seven-day period in addition to daily rest; a break when the working day exceeds six hours; and an average 48-hour weekly limit including overtime, subject to the Directive's scope and permitted derogations.

What is MCP time tracking?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets a compatible AI assistant use authorized Claimora tools. Instead of copying a chat response into a timesheet, the assistant can create or inspect structured time records directly after you sign in.

Which AI assistants work with Claimora?

Claimora is designed for MCP-compatible clients such as Claude, OpenAI Codex CLI, Cursor, OpenCode and ChatGPT where custom MCP connections are available. Client features and plan requirements can differ.

Can the MCP server track several days at once?

Yes. Claimora can record a date range, automatically skip configured non-working days, future dates, existing claims and vacation or sick days, and report every result.

Does an AI assistant get unrestricted access to Claimora?

No. The connection uses OAuth scopes, and every tool remains subject to Claimora's role and record-level authorization. A user cannot gain manager or HR capabilities by connecting an assistant.

Can managers and HR review approvals through AI?

Yes, when their Claimora role permits it. Authorized reviewers can inspect pending time and vacation requests and approve or decline individual items or eligible batches.

Do I need to run an MCP server myself?

No. Claimora hosts the remote MCP server. You add Claimora in a compatible client, sign in through the browser, and can revoke the connection later from your Claimora account.
